The provisions of micro, small and medium enterprise came to existence in accordance with micro, small and medium enterprise development, 2006. It is classified into two sectors.

Manufacturing sector. Any company engaging in manufacturing and production of goods as specified under the first schedule to the industries act, 1951 and installing machinery in the process of value addition to the final product having a distinct name and character and use.

Service sector. Any enterprise that specialise in providing service.

Each enterprise has different investment limits.

Manufacturing sector.

Micro. Less than or equal to 25 lakh rupees.

Small. More than 25 lakh, but less than and equal to 5 crore.

Medium. More than 5 crore but does not exceed 10 crore rupees.

Service sector.

Micro. Less than and equal to 10 lakh rupees.

Small. More than 10 lakh but less than and equal to 2 crore.

Medium. More than two crore rupees but less than five crore rupees

How to register micro, small and medium enterprise registration?

Visit the government website.

Secondly.

Enter the entrepreneur 12 digit aadhaar number and name from the aadhaar card.

Thirdly.

Following successful validation you must input the social category which is general as well as the scheduled caste as well as scheduled tribe and other backward class you belong to.

Gender. Fill in the gender status.

Status. The physically handicapped status must be selected by the entrepreneur applicant.

The company name. The company name must be entered by the entrepreneur. The entrepreneur can run multiple enterprise. Each of the entities must be assigned a unique aadhaar number.

Organizational structure. The applicant must choose the organization type of his firm from the list provided.

Permanent account number. The applicant has to enter a permanent account number if his business falls under a specific category.

Cooperative.

Private limited company.

Public limited company.

Limited liability corporation.

For other sorts of business entity this section is optional.

Sixthly location of the plant. He must enter all of the plant location information.

Seventhly business postal address. The applicant should fill in the complete address of the business entity that is district as well as state as well as pin code as well as mobile number and email address .

Eightly business commencement. The date of commencement of business should be entered in the appropriate field.

Thirteenthly number of employee. The application must state the number of employees involved and who is paid and paid remuneration.

Fourteenthly total investment. The calculation of total investment involves the value of items purchased excluding research and development.

Fifteenthly district interface center. Based on the location of the business entity, the applicant has to fill the location of the district interface center.

Sixteenthly submitting the application. After clicking the submit button one time password will be issued to the applicant registered email address.

If an applicant does not already have an aadhaar number he must apply for one.
